Hillsboro – Floyd Davis, 48, a resident of this community all his life, died Sunday in St. Elizabeth hospital, Lafayette after suffering a relapse from an operation performed two weeks ago. A blood clot in a lung caused death. He was born in Kansas. Surviving are the widow; five sons; his mother, Mrs. Ross Miller of Mellott; three sisters, Mrs. Blanche Breckweg, Lafayette; Mrs. Elizabeth Parker, Linden and Mrs. Verna Haxton of near here with two brothers, Harry Davis, Clinton, Iowa and Cletis Davis whereabouts unknown. - kbz
